Mobil Premium Performance Bearing and Gear Lubricant

Mobil DTE Oil Named Series lubricant products are designed for steam and hydro turbine sets and other systems
demanding long lubricant life. DTE gear lubricant products provide extremely high chemical and thermal stability,
rapid and complete separation from water, and high resistance to emulsification. They provide excellent rust and
corrosion protection, including resistance to salt water, and good anti-wear properties. A high viscosity index
ensures minimum variation of film thickness with temperature and minimum power loss during warm-up. These
grades have excellent air release properties, allowing entrained air to separate, and avoiding pump capitation.

DTE Bearing and Gear Lubricant is used widely in steam turbines and hydro-turbines with splash, bath and
ring-oiling arrangements, and other continuous circulation methods. This series is recommended for continuous
service in the lubrication of plain and rolling bearings, and parallel shaft gearing.

Mobil Superior Performance Bearing and Gear Lubricant

Mobil SHC bearing and gear lubricant is formulated with synthetic base fluids with an inherently high viscosity
index and unique additive system. They offer outstanding performance in high and low temperatures,
well beyond mineral oils. These products resist mechanical shear, even in heavily loaded gear and
high shear bearing applications.

The base oils used in the SHC Series have outstanding resistance to oxidation and sludging,
rusting and corrosion. The additive combination is multi-metal compatible and has outstanding
air release and foam control properties.
