to suit very specific machining applications.

Castrol Synthetic Cutting & Grinding Fluids

• Syntilo 9902 oil-rejecting synthetic lubricant for grinding and light-duty machining of ferrous metals
  has good paint and plastic compatibility, low residue.

• Syntilo 9951 economical synthetic lubricant for machining and grinding of ferrous metals, stainless steels
  and alloys. Rejects tramp oils to the surface, inhibits microbial growth; low foaming in all water conditions.

• Syntilo 2109 oil absorbing synthetic lubricant offers enhanced rust protection for grinding, transfer lines;
  prevents clinkering of cast iron chips. Smut-free.

• Syntilo 9926 oil rejecting synthetic lubricant is low foaming, low odor, low make-up. 
  For moderate machining and grinding of ferrous and cast irons. 

• Syntilo 9930 oil rejecting synthetic lubricant for grinding and light-duty machining is low foaming,
  with low lubricity.  Hard water stable.

• Syntilo 9904 oil rejecting synthetic lubricant for grinding and light-duty machining combines
  good corrosion protection with medium lubricity.  For steel alloys, stainless alloys, cast iron.

• Syntilo 9918 oil rejecting synthetic lubricant for grinding, honing, milling, turning, boring and
  drilling has a neutral pH, medium lubricity.  Won’t stain aluminum. 

• Syntilo 9954 oil-rejecting synthetic lubricant for gun drilling, broaching, and tapping is low foaming, high lubricity.

• Syntilo 9974 oil-rejecting synthetic lubricant for gun drilling, broaching, tapping is GM and Ford approved.  
  Stainless, steel, cast iron.

• Syntilo 9913 oil-rejecting synthetic lubricant for heavy-duty machining is boron-free, highly lubricious
  on aluminum.  Neutral pH.  For automotive and aerospace aluminum, steel, high-temp alloys. 
  

Castrol Semi-Synthetic Cutting & Grinding Fluids

• Clearedge 6502 semi-synthetic lubricant for light-duty grinding is clean and economical. 
  Cast iron, low carbon steel.

• Clearedge 6519 multi-metal semi-synthetic lubricant is safe for all alloys. 
  Long sump life, high operator acceptance.

• Clearedge 6536 semi-synthetic lubricant for heavy-duty ferrous machining and grinding 
  provides extended tool life on severe service applications, slide lubrication, tramp oil resistance. 
  Long sump life. GM, aerospace-approved

• Hysol MB 50 multi-purpose semi-synthetic lubricant has high biostability, and good environmentals:
  it is sulfur, chlorine and formaldehyde-free. Hysol MB50 is recommended for the machining and grinding
  of all grades of aluminum, particularly for aerospace and automotive applications; also ferrous alloys.
  It is low foaming in all water conditions. Hysol MB 50 provides the performance of heavy duty soluble oils
  without the disadvantages – or the high usage rate of traditional fluids.

Castrol Soluble Cutting & Grinding Fluids

• Safety Cool 70 soluble lubricant is low cost, multi-purpose, GM approved. 
  Ideal for general machining of cast iron, low carbon steel.

• Hysol X soluble lubricant for creep-feed and other grinding increases grind wheel life,
  reduces cycle time, improves part finish.  Low carbon steel, alloy steels, exotics. 

• Superedge 6755 soluble lubricant provides excellent bacterial /fungal resistance, excellent surface finish. 
  Low odor, long-life; ideal for reaming, general machining on automotive and aerospace aluminum, and steels.

• Superedge 6754 soluble oil outperforms typical soluble oils in providing a superior finish on aluminum. 
  Bacterial and fungal resistant, long life, reduced odor.  Ford approved.

Cutting, Grinding & Honing Oils, Gun Drill Oil, Ilocut, Honilo, Ilogrind

• Gun Drill Oil 2190 petroleum-based cutting oil for deep hole drilling of steels, aluminums, challenging materials
  such as titanium and Inconel. Outperforms conventional straight oils in severe operations.
  
• Gun Drilling Oil 2480 allows deep-hole drilling where metal toughness, not hardness, is the factor.
  Enables extreme dimensional accuracy, low micro finish; often precludes additional finishing.
  Extremely high anti-weld properties prevent burnishing or tearing wall finish.
  For cast, exotic alloys, stainless steel, tool steel.
  
• Gun Drill Oil C light viscosity oil is formulated with premium lubricity additives,
  anti-weld sulfur compounds and chlorinated extreme pressure agents. Made from virgin oils; free of PCA and PNA .

• Ilocut 5468 chlorinated neat oil for deep hole drilling and machining of ferrous materials extends tool life,
  reduces chip welding, improves surface finish.
  
• Ilocut 5721 chlorine-free neat oil for cutting, hydraulics, gears. Ideal for screw machining
  on high alloyed steels, nickel, titanium.
  
• Ilocut 5770 chlorine-free neat oil for general machining of ferrous materials, aluminum, titanium,
  stainless steel. Ford approved.
  
• Ilocut 5713 chlorine-free neat oil delivers high cutting efficiency, multi-functionality.
  For ferrous materials, aluminum, titanium, stainless, yellow metals.
  
• Honilo 980 chlorine-free neat oil for honing and superfinishing cast iron, steel, aluminum and
  general machining of nonferrous metals. Excellent flushing, filterability and surface finish properties.
  
• Honilo 981 chlorine-free neat oil for honing and superfinishing cast iron, steel, and aluminum where
  critical superfinishing and dimensional accuracy are required. Also general nonferrous machining.
  Low viscosity, sulfur and chlorine-free; strong bioresistance.
  
• Honilo 710 chlorine-free neat oil for honing and superfinishing cast iron, steel, aluminum; general nonferrous
  alloy machining. Low odor, low VOCs, high filterability for long life. Ford, GM, Toyota approved.
  
• Ilogrind FGO 100 high performance flute grinding oil is compatible with sensitive oxide protective coatings.
  Excellent filterability and foam control, non-staining. Ideal for steels over RC55.
  
• Ilogrind 600 chlorine-free cutting and grinding oil for high speed surface, creep feed and form grinding.
  Premium grinding oil for consistent accuracy with fewer dresses, less wheel wear, less scrap.

Castrol Rust Preventatives: Rustilo, Tarp

• Rustilo DW 924 solvent-based dewatering protective has excellent corrosion properties, acid and alkaline stability. 
  Thin film won’t interfere with gauging equipment.  Short dry cycle; fingerprint suppressing.  Ford approved.

• Rustilo 4175 in-process aqueous corrosion preventative produces a synthetic dry film to protect parts
  for storage without fire hazard.  Nitrite and heavy metal free, short drying, excellent worker ergonomics. 
  Usable as a rinse, corrosion preventative, cleaner in washer systems.  Cummins, Ford, GM approved. 

• Rustilo DW 924HF solvent-based dewatering protective and forming oil provides lubricity for light forming. 
  Use on painted / unpainted surfaces, wet or dry.  Economical; dip application.  GM approved. 

• Rustilo 4163 neat corrosion preventive oil has low viscosity, resists acid atmospheres.  Heavy metal and
  VOC-free; fingerprint suppressant.  Dip, flood or spray apply. Indoor humidity protection up to 2 years. 

• Rustilo Tarp CFX is a barium-free, thixotropic rust preventive and light duty lubricant. It is heavy metal and
  solvent-free, low-VOC, and is non-reactive with paint films. Rustilo Tarp CFX becomes fluid with agitation,
  and the residual film is self-healing. Rustilo Tarp CFX provides outstanding humidity and salt spray protection
  for ferrous and nonferrous parts for up to five years of indoor storage. Caterpillar and John Deere approved.

• Rustilo 4135 HF dewatering protective has a high flash point, low VOCs.  Good water displacement and
  penetration, reliable medium-term protection.  Acid and alkaline stable, heavy metal free.  GM approved.

• Safecoat DW 10 dewatering fluid leaves no perceptible film or water spots.  Won’t compromise
  coatings adhesion.  Very low aromatics; economical alternative to compressed air drying.

• Safecoat DW 90 corrosion preventative is oil-dispersed, water-displacing.  Odor-free, low VOC;
  ideal for long-term indoor humidity protection. High flash point; dip or spray.  Additives prevent fingerprinting.

• Safecoat 66 neat rust preventive oil contains a vapor-phase corrosion inhibitor. It simultaneously cleans and
  protects ball and roller bearings, and is ideal for protecting delicate or highly finished engineering products
  particularly whose with moving parts that are incompatible with greasy films. Safecoat 66 is free of heavy metals
  and solvents, and contains no additives which inhibit the uniform distribution of oil and grease. Safecoat 66 shows
  good filtering properties. Its protective film does not harden, even long after application. It can be applied by immersion.

Castrol Cleaners: Castrol Kleen, Techniclean

• Techniclean 2000 mildly alkaline light-duty floor cleaner limits staining, reduces dermal issues. 
  Fast-drying, no-slip finish; ambient operation.  Economical; nitrite and silicate-free.

• Castrol Kleen 3652 oil-absorbing in-process aluminum cleaner removes light duty crankcase and light gear oils,
  emulsions, honing oils, hydraulic coils, synthetic cutting and grinding oils.  Ambient use; GM approved.

• Castrol Kleen 3625 heavy-duty alkaline cleaner splits oils provides short-term corrosion  protection. 
  Low-foaming, fast-dry to tack-free surface. Nitrite / phosphate-free   Caterpillar, Cummins, Ford, GM,
  GE Aircraft approved.    

• Castrol Kleen 3610 mild alkaline ultrasonic cleaner promotes wetting of transducers, produces residue-free finish. 
  Removes adhesives, grinding oils, heavy forming oils, hydraulic oils, lubricating oils. 

• Castrol Kleen 5001 alkaline oil-rejecting spray cleaner removes adhesives, plus these oils:
  crankcase and light gear, oils, heat treat, heavy forming, hydraulic, lubricating, cutting.  Low-foaming,
  provides in-process rust protection at moderate pH.  Cummins, Ford approved.

• CareClean XHP spray cleaner provides short term corrosion protection; contains bimetallic corrosion
  inhibitors to protect copper heat exchangers, pump parts.  Prevents foam-outs; low pH minimizes dermal issues. 
  Ford approved. 

• Come-Clean 900 heavy-duty industrial cleaner is oil-absorbing, removes adhesives, heat treat oils,
  forming oils, heavy viscosity oils, lubricating oils from ferrous metals, also concrete.  USDA approved.

• Cleanal E88 cleaner / degreaser is free-rinsing and operator-friendly.  Deposit-free finish; moderate pH;
  ideal for removing cutting fluids from ball and roller bearing components. Cummins approved.

Deformation Oils

• Various Castrol products both straight oil and soluble for stamping, fine blanking, drawing,
  hydroforming, tube mills, pilgering and forging.

Unique Specialty Products

• Castrol Hysol MB 20 – A biocide-free semi-synthetic metalworking fluid for machining and grinding of ferrous
